Project Overview
The objective of this project is to collect high-quality images of streets, key points of interest, and public spaces in the United States. Utilizing vehicles equipped with state-of-the-art 360-degree cameras, we will capture and store images of the surroundings, which will subsequently enhance one of the world’s most widely used online mapping services.
As a Data Collector/Driver, you will be assigned specific routes through public streets and areas, focusing particularly on commercial districts and historical landmarks. Due to the variability in weather conditions, some locations may require multiple visits to ensure optimal image quality. The project duration is expected to be between 3 to 6 months, covering diverse data collection sites.
We are looking for a candidate who enjoys driving, possesses extensive knowledge of the local area and traffic patterns, and demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility and reliability. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 hours a day, totaling 40 hours per week. Flexibility to work weekends may be required due to potential weather-related downtime.
