Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.3+ years of experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines. Proven expertise in solution design, development, implementation, reporting, and analysis. Strong proficiency in Apache Spark, Python, and SQL. Experience working with Text, Delta, Parquet, JSON, CSV, and XML data formats. Familiarity with Spark structured streaming. Experience with AWS infrastructure, particularly S3.Solid understanding of git-based version control, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies. Experience with the Atlassian stack is a plus. Knowledge of common web API frameworks and web services. Excellent teamwork, relationship management, and client engagement skills, with the ability to influence peers and senior management to achieve team objectives. Openness to embracing modern technology, best practices, and innovative work methodologies.

As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in this mission, creating solutions that facilitate informed decision-making and promote innovation. Your work will ensure the delivery of clean, secure, high-quality, and auditable data from various sources into tailored data products.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, developing, testing, deploying, and monitoring data pipelines in Databricks on AWS from a diverse range of data sources.
  • Crafting scalable code with PySpark and SQL within Databricks, ensuring optimization and efficiency.
  • Identifying and implementing enhancements to internal processes through code optimization and automation.
  • Creating data quality dashboards, lineage flows, and monitoring tools to actively manage and provide insights into data quality and governance.
  • Facilitating the migration of data from legacy systems to newly developed solutions.
  • Leading and adhering to best practices regarding data security, retention, and privacy policies.
