Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain efficient data pipelines capable of processing substantial data volumes.
- Analyze extensive datasets utilizing tools such as Python and SQL.
- Enhance and optimize our data platform for speed, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with various functional teams to understand and fulfill their data requirements.
- Develop processes and tools for monitoring and analyzing model performance and data accuracy.
- Address general data-related challenges.
- Establish new pipelines for data streaming, enrichment, and curation.
- Maintain source code repositories.
- Investigate and implement Machine Learning and AI techniques to enhance our cloud offerings.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer (or equivalent accomplishments).
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced SQL proficiency.
- Strong Python skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A keen desire to learn and master new technologies and methodologies.
