About the job
At Mindera, we believe that exceptional software is crafted by talented individuals, aimed at delivering high-performance systems that enhance user experiences globally. We are currently seeking a Data Governance Analyst to become a vital part of our agile and collaborative team, where your insights are as valuable as your technical skills.
Our culture is built on the principles of empathy, self-organization, and the courage to innovate. If you are passionate about tackling intricate challenges and believe that teaching is a fundamental part of learning, you will thrive in our environment.
We are looking for a proactive individual who enjoys constructing, learning, and mentoring others. Your role will involve close collaboration with our leadership team (CEO/COO) and clients, making clear communication and teamwork essential.
Your Contributions Will Include:

- AI Intake & Risk Support: Assist in managing incoming AI tool requests, keep the AI registry's data fields up-to-date, coordinate vendor evaluations, and ensure that robust PII and sensitive data safeguards are in place before product launch.
- Portfolio Management & Compliance: Monitor existing tools for data boundary deviations, identify shadow AI usage, conduct quarterly reviews for duplicate solutions, and alert Security and Data Governance about unusual access or usage patterns.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Data Engineering to ensure data governance in pipelines and access controls. Collaborate with Legal to integrate regulatory updates, and with HR to enhance data literacy within AI training initiatives.
- Governance Operations: Prepare essential inputs for Governance Board discussions, maintain internal policies and procedural guides, and monitor regulatory progress (GDPR, EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001).
