Role Overview
As a Data Processing & Analysis Associate, your primary responsibility will be to analyze, research, and process music metadata in a structured and accurate manner. You will convert this data into valuable information that meets our clients' diverse requirements for royalty payments to networks, producers, performing rights organizations, and other music copyright entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Input and document music metadata from electronic sources into designated processing systems utilized for reporting music royalty information.
- Ensure the accuracy of processed data aligns with company standards.
- Identify and resolve routine and complex discrepancies in metadata inputs.
- Engage in quality assurance processes to detect and correct data-related issues.
- Handle various priority tasks associated with metadata management.
- Provide guidance and support to fellow data processing staff when necessary.
- Collaborate with management and team members to meet weekly or monthly deadlines.
- Maintain effective communication with team leaders and colleagues.
- Assist with additional company projects as required.
Qualifications
- Completion of GCE A/Ls or GCE O/L with a certificate or diploma qualification.
- Strong proofreading skills.
- Proficient in using Google Drives and email communication.
- Experience with Google Sheets and Docs, along with a solid understanding of internet research and computer fundamentals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
