If so, the Data Science Traineeship at People X is your next step! These are the skills we are looking for to help you embark on a career in Data Science.
As a Data Scientist, you will perform calculations based on data to make predictions about future trends in the industry or organization. You will be a proficient programmer, engaged in constructing, forecasting, and evaluating algorithms, while also looking beyond the present and past to the future with predictive models.
We initiate a Data Science Traineeship every quarter where you will be trained by specialists with practical experience, transforming you into a Junior Data Engineer / Junior Data Scientist.
Your first three months will involve full-time training (theory, exams, and hands-on practice) led by professionals in the data field. After this training period, we will assist you in finding a suitable client in your local area. We ensure you have interviews with exciting clients, allowing you to choose where you want to start your career. You can find a complete overview of our current clients here.
Your tasks will vary considerably depending on the client/industry you work with, but generally include:
Cleaning and processing raw data into usable formats;
Setting up and configuring a data warehouse;
Providing advice on current and future business operations based on your findings;
Identifying patterns in large datasets to develop predictive algorithms (machine learning);
Describing and visualizing discovered insights and predictions.
What we offer you
A 1.5-year traineeship;
Paid from day one of the traineeship, with a monthly salary ranging between €2750 and €3250 gross based on a 40-hour work week;
A specialized traineeship taught by certified (Microsoft) trainers with real-world experience;
Opportunities to obtain various recognized (Microsoft) certifications that meet market needs, including SQL, PL-300, Power BI, and Azure Fundamentals.
