As a Data Steward at joinmakropro, you will play a vital role in managing our data assets, ensuring they are accurate, accessible, and compliant with organizational standards. This position serves as a crucial link between business and technology, overseeing the quality, consistency, and usability of data across essential domains such as customer, product, vendor, and finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with data owners and custodians to establish and uphold data standards, policies, and business rules.
- Enhance data quality through profiling, cleansing, and validation processes.
- Act as the subject matter expert for specific data domains (e.g., customer, store, inventory).
- Identify and resolve data issues while facilitating root cause analysis.
- Support metadata management by updating definitions, lineage, and classifications within the data catalog.
- Facilitate data change management processes to ensure compliance with data governance policies.
- Work collaboratively with business and IT teams to drive data-driven initiatives, analytics, and reporting.
- Engage in data governance councils to align with the enterprise data strategy.
