About the Position
As a Senior Database Engineer at Trendyol, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of our essential database systems. Your responsibilities will include proactively managing and optimizing PostgreSQL environments, overseeing capacity planning, implementing backups, handling replication, and maintaining high availability operations. You will also drive automation initiatives through Infrastructure as Code practices. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will enhance application development with effective schema design, query optimization, and release management. Additionally, as a senior team member, you will mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in database management.
