Your key responsibilities as a DataOps Engineer will include:Monitoring & Alerting: Proactively monitor and respond to incidents concerning AWS Glue executions, DMS and dbt pipelines, Kafka health, data freshness SLA breaches, data quality issues, and platform health alerts. Perform L1 triage and escalate incidents as necessary. Incident Management: Take ownership of the incident response process, including triage, severity assessment, coordination with development teams, and JIRA ticket management. Root Cause Analysis & Prevention: Conduct post-incident analyses and implement preventive measures in collaboration with development teams. Operational Reporting: Manage the operational dashboard and deliver daily reviews of incidents and resolutions. Continuous Awareness: Stay informed about the status of critical data flows and platform health.
