Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:Genuine passion for supporting children with autism. Demonstrated patience, compassion, and teamwork skills. Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED required. Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification, as well as a Tuberculosis test (if not completed in the past year). Must pass a pre-employment background check. Physical capability to perform various movements (sit, squat, bend, etc.). Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

In this rewarding role, you will work closely with children, implementing personalized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Utilizing evidence-based techniques, you will help teach vital skills including communication, social interactions, and daily living tasks, all while minimizing challenging behaviors. Your compassion, patience, and teamwork will be key in helping children reach their full potential.

We provide comprehensive training to prepare you for this role, regardless of your prior experience. However, this position requires resilience and physical capability, as you may need to engage in various activities such as standing, walking, bending, and occasionally lifting children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
