About the Role
As a Defense Software Engineer at Applied Intuition, you will play a pivotal role in transforming vehicle intelligence for both commercial and defense applications. This position mirrors the responsibilities typically held by a startup CTO, where you’ll collaborate within small teams and take ownership of high-stakes projects from inception to execution. You will serve as the technical liaison between our cutting-edge vehicle intelligence platforms and the operational environments of our customers.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise and operational efficiency. You will predominantly engage with defense and government clients, integrating our tools, Vehicle OS, and autonomy stacks with DOD platforms in challenging operational contexts. The unique opportunity lies in utilizing our advanced commercial technology and rapidly evolving product offerings to deliver solutions that traditional defense contractors would take years to produce. You will encounter diverse challenges encompassing core software engineering, system deployment, hardware integration, and more to secure mission success.
This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about pioneering advancements in defense technology.
