Deputy Home Manager (Nurse Qualified)

Hourly Rate: £19
Supernumerary with clinical hours included
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced nurse, currently serving as a Deputy Home Manager or an accomplished nurse aspiring to transition into a management position. This role is situated within our esteemed ARBD service located in the Castlemilk area of Glasgow, providing a remarkable opportunity to collaborate closely with the Home Manager to deliver exceptional care within the service.
As the Deputy Home Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all training needs of the staff are met. You will oversee the duty rota, manage staff attendance, and confidently address any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities of the Deputy Home Manager:
- Foster effective communication with residents and their families, involving them in the planning of individual care.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of care interventions.
- Guarantee that all care is delivered in accordance with the home's policies and procedures.
- Participate in regular staff appraisals and supervision, maintaining satisfactory records.
- Monitor and manage the duty rota over a four-week period.
- Keep the manager informed of any incidents involving residents, staff, or visitors, ensuring adherence to procedures and policies.
- Engage in the assessment of prospective residents prior to their admission to the home.
- Deputy Home Manager - Required Qualifications:
- Valid NMC Pin.
- A minimum of 2 years experience as an RGN or RMN in a Care Home setting.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in team management.
- Two references from a healthcare setting are required.
