We are seeking a passionate professional to create a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere for children attending Crèche Play. Our client’s nursery caters to children up to five years of age, and it is essential to maintain a clean, secure, and inviting environment. Delivering high-quality early learning and care in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements will be central to your responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will possess experience working with children under five and their families, along with a minimum NVQ Level 4 qualification in Child Development (or equivalent). A solid understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding practices, and principles of equality and diversity is crucial.

As the deputy manager, you will support the nursery manager in ensuring the daily operations run smoothly, upholding high standards, and guaranteeing that all children thrive in a stimulating and secure learning environment.
The successful candidate will:
- Exhibit a genuine passion for nurturing children.
- Have senior or supervisory experience within an Early Years setting.
- Possess excellent knowledge of Safeguarding and EYFS.
- Demonstrate experience in Early Years Business Management.
- Hold an NVQ Level 4 qualification in Childcare or higher.
- Be an effective and friendly team player.
