We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Engineering Manager to spearhead multidisciplinary engineering design activities for our petrochemical and oil & gas projects, focusing primarily on oil and gas separation systems. This pivotal role involves overseeing design development throughout various project phases, ensuring adherence to international standards, project specifications, and client needs. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with EPC teams and stakeholders. This position is based in China.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee engineering design activities specific to petrochemical and oil & gas projects.
- Direct the design of oil & gas separation systems, including process facilities and associated units.
- Manage and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams, including process, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation engineers.
- Review and validate engineering deliverables, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Ensure engineering designs align with project scope, timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.
- Coordinate effectively with project management, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
- Engage with clients, licensors, vendors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and satisfaction.
- Uphold international codes, standards, and project specifications throughout the design process.
- Provide technical support and issue resolution during engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
- Offer technical leadership and performance management for engineering teams.
