Qualifications
Overview:B. S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline; Master’s degree is preferred. A minimum of 5 years' experience in automotive interior systems engineering is required. This role focuses on leading the design, development, and integration of interior accessory systems throughout the vehicle lifecycle. You will serve as the primary liaison among engineering, design, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure component performance, quality, and compliance with regulations. The DRE will oversee the delivery of high-quality interior components (such as storage systems, trim, and speaker mounts) from concept to production, ensuring effective system integration, validation, and launch readiness. This position demands strong technical leadership, system-level thinking, and the capacity to synchronize various stakeholders in a fast-paced development environment. Proficiency in interior systems, plastic components, and product validation is essential, with experience in startup or new vehicle programs being a considerable advantage.
