What You’ll DoWork Location: This position can be based out of any of Axon's U. S. hub offices (Atlanta/Peachtree Corners, Boston/Back Bay, New York City/Manhattan, Phoenix/Scottsdale, San Francisco/Presidio, Seattle/Downtown) and follows a hybrid work schedule. In-person collaboration is essential; therefore, team members are expected to work onsite from Tuesday to Friday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays unless an approved workplace accommodation is in place. We believe that connection drives innovation, and our in-office culture is designed to cultivate meaningful teamwork, mentorship, and collective success. Reports to: Vice President of Financial Reporting and Strategic InvestmentsEngage in cross-functional teams as a finance representative to evaluate accounting for potential M&A and investment opportunities. Develop and review technical accounting documentation.

Your Impact

We seek a proactive and highly skilled team player to join our Accounting Strategy and Financial Reporting team. In this role, you will spearhead accounting research and operational analyses focusing on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), strategic equity and debt investments, new accounting standards, and various special projects. You will also play a pivotal role in supporting SEC reporting and earnings release processes, including overseeing financial statement disclosures and non-GAAP financial measures.

Your collaboration with our Strategy and Corporate Development teams will involve providing strategic advice on the accounting ramifications of unique transactions. Additionally, you will develop clear, actionable accounting policies and deliver informative training sessions. Presenting your research and insights to senior leadership and key cross-functional stakeholders will also be part of your responsibilities.
