This pivotal role involves taking complete ownership of the Amazon channel, encompassing growth strategies, competitive analysis, catalog optimization, pricing strategies, advertising alignment, inventory management, and comprehensive operational oversight for both FBA and FBM.
The perfect candidate will possess an extensive background in Amazon operations, a data-driven mindset, and exceptional leadership skills to foster sustainable growth while safeguarding brand integrity and marketplace performance. This position effectively serves as the general manager for the Amazon business, accountable for revenue expansion, profitability, and long-term market leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Amazon Business Ownership
- Oversee the overall Amazon profit and loss (P&L) and growth strategy.
- Formulate long-term plans to enhance marketplace revenue while ensuring profitability.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities to increase market share within key product categories.
- Collaborate with leadership to shape marketplace strategies and expand channel reach.
Competitive Intelligence & Market Strategy
- Conduct continuous analysis of competitors, pricing trends, and category dynamics.
- Identify potential threats from emerging competitors or private label products.
- Track keyword rankings, category performance, and share of voice.
- Devise strategies to defend and enhance category leadership.
Catalog Optimization & Conversion Strategy
- Supervise the ongoing enhancement of Amazon product listings.
- Lead the optimization of titles, bullet points, A+ content, images, videos, and storefront experiences.
- Monitor listing health and indexing performance.
- Drive initiatives to improve conversion rates and organic rankings.
Pricing & Marketplace Strategy
- Manage the pricing strategy to ensure competitiveness while safeguarding profit margins.
- Oversee Buy Box performance and pricing consistency across channels.
- Spot opportunities for promotional efforts and seasonal campaigns.
