As the Director of Business Development, you will report directly to the SBU Head and hold comprehensive P&L responsibilities for several major Banking accounts. Your primary goal will be to explore and establish new revenue avenues while enhancing existing client relationships. The role encompasses a variety of strategic functions, including:
Strategic Planning
- Define and outline long-term strategic objectives for business development, ensuring alignment with the organization's overarching goals.
- Identify and leverage new revenue-generation opportunities that support and advance the organization's Mission and Vision Statements.
Financial/Business Planning and Budgeting
- Analyze revenue-generation performance and suggest necessary adjustments or interventions.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to bid on and secure new projects.
- Research and propose potential grants and funding opportunities.
- Contribute to proposal preparations as necessary.
Sales, Marketing, and Business Development
- Identify marketing and sales opportunities for products and services.
- Actively negotiate and close deals for new projects and initiatives.
Client Relationship Management
- Proactively manage key relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Collaborate closely with partners, consultants, and staff to ensure effective service delivery.
