The Role
Join Veriff as the Director of Business Operations, where you will play a pivotal role in driving our mission to resolve online identity challenges through scalable, data-driven insights. Collaborating closely with the SVP of Operations and Analytics, as well as our leadership team, you will leverage strategic thinking and executional skills to lead planning initiatives, spearhead cross-functional projects, and establish the operational frameworks that enable Veriff's growth.
Your Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Goal-Setting: Oversee comprehensive planning cycles across the organization, from annual strategies to quarterly OKR development, ensuring alignment and accountability.
- Executive Cadence: Craft executive and board-level presentations that distill business performance and strategic decisions. Manage the operational rhythm for the SVP, including leadership reviews and strategic retreats.
- Cross-Functional Initiatives: Take ownership of 2-4 high-stakes business challenges, guiding them from inception to execution. Act as a liaison across departments such as Product, Engineering, and Finance to remove obstacles.
- Operational Excellence: Identify and rectify gaps in decision-making and processes. Create essential tools and resources to support scaling, collaborating with Finance on resource allocation and business cases.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Professional Background: A minimum of 7 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or Business Operations within a high-growth technology environment.
- Strategic Execution: Proven success in executing complex initiatives that deliver tangible business outcomes, with expertise in managing OKR processes.
- Analytical Proficiency: Strong skills in financial modeling and SQL, capable of transforming ambiguous inquiries into structured analyses and actionable recommendations.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional executive presence, with the ability to simplify complex situations for diverse audiences, from team members to board members.
- Interpersonal Skills: A natural ability to influence others and cultivate trust within a multifaceted organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- An MBA or advanced degree from a prestigious institution.
