As the Director of the Government-Wide Data Cleansing Program, you will spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing data quality across various government entities. Your leadership will ensure the implementation of effective data cleansing strategies, enterprise data modeling, and dataset publication, thereby promoting the availability of high-quality, trustworthy data. You will also facilitate ongoing monitoring and governance, fostering continuous improvements in data quality.
Primary Responsibilities
• Develop and direct the overarching data cleansing strategy for the government, ensuring adherence to data quality standards and alignment with governmental priorities.
• Create a structured framework for prioritizing essential datasets and orchestrating a phased execution across various entities.
• Standardize, automate, and scale the data cleansing lifecycle utilizing cutting-edge tools and AI solutions, while governing reusable processes.
• Implement and manage a multi-vendor model for data cleansing, ensuring synchronized execution and performance oversight across entities.
• Oversee large-scale initiatives aimed at improving data quality, ensuring compliance with established quality metrics and thresholds.
• Guide the development of enterprise data models for government entities, ensuring compliance with overarching data standards and interoperability requirements.
• Supervise the creation, standardization, and dissemination of cleansed datasets within the Government Wide data catalog, promoting accessibility and reuse.
• Lead the development of data quality dashboards to monitor key performance indicators and track cleansing progress.
• Establish and chair governance bodies to ensure timely delivery, facilitate issue resolution, and ensure alignment with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain sustainable data quality and cleansing frameworks for long-term enhancement and upkeep.
• Regularly report to senior leadership regarding program advancements, risks, and impact on data maturity.
