Job Summary
The Director of DTC Insights & Analytics is responsible for spearheading the strategy and execution of analytics and experimentation across KEEN’s Ecommerce, Retail, and Marketplace channels. This role blends a visionary approach with hands-on execution, establishing and scaling a center of excellence that integrates analytics into activation planning and decision-making at all organizational levels. The focus is on delivering an innovative KPI framework, advanced forecasting models, and empowering tools that enhance data fluency across teams. The Director oversees the comprehensive experimentation and personalization initiatives, driving measurable improvements in conversion rates, consumer experience, and lifetime value through systematic testing and optimization. As a strategic partner to the VP of Ecommerce, this role translates intricate cross-channel consumer behaviors and performance data into actionable insights that influence financial planning, investment decisions, and growth strategies, enabling teams to surpass their acceleration goals.
Essential Functions
- Build and Lead the Commercial Insights & Analytics Center of Excellence (COE), establishing the vision, multi-year roadmap, operating model, delivery governance, and quality standards to drive commercial impact and stakeholder trust.
- Define and operationalize analytics success metrics, including insight adoption, forecast accuracy, process cycle-time reduction, and performance improvement.
- Develop and lead a high-performing BI/analytics team, setting strategic direction, enhancing technical capabilities, and promoting talent growth and accountability.
- Act as a strategic advisor to commercial leadership, converting complex analyses into compelling, actionable narratives that are easily interpreted and applied.
- Stay current with industry trends, AI/ML advancements, and emerging analytics practices to continuously evolve the function and maintain a competitive edge.
Develop Data Infrastructure & Tools:
- Design and scale a unified data architecture across platforms, marketplaces, and channels, collaborating with Global Technology to ensure clean datasets and best practices in data lineage.
- Implement data governance and responsible data stewardship in partnership with Legal, Security, and Technology, ensuring ethical, secure, and compliant data practices.
- Own the semantic layer and instrumentation strategies to facilitate robust data analysis.
