Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day operations of litigation support software and eDiscovery databases, including database creation and maintenance, importing data, searching, and exporting. Oversee document scanning, OCR, coding, and production processes for electronically stored information. Assist in trial preparation by preparing documents and exhibits. Track incoming media, maintaining chain of custody and documentation for all media and data. Contribute to the development of internal processes and workflows. Be available for overtime hours as needed, including nights and weekends. Collaborate with General Counsel, Attorneys, Law Clerks, and Legal Assistants. Troubleshoot technical issues within the eDiscovery platform. Stay updated with best practices and regulations in the discovery industry. Build and maintain relationships with eDiscovery vendors. Exhibit self-motivation and a desire to influence the department's direction. Quickly learn new eDiscovery review platforms.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Director of eDiscovery to join our dynamic team at Contact Government Services. As a pivotal leader in our eDiscovery and Litigation department, you will spearhead a talented electronic discovery team dedicated to supporting government projects. This role encompasses overseeing litigation support and e-discovery processes, including project management, Electronically Stored Information (ESI) intake, data analysis, early case assessments, and document production, while fostering effective relationships with third-party vendors.
