The Director of Emergency Services plays a pivotal role in overseeing the management of our comprehensive emergency service line. This includes both the main hospital emergency department and a free-standing emergency facility. The individual in this position is tasked with the development, implementation, and administration of high-quality patient care services within these departments.
Key responsibilities include achieving all quality, throughput, and patient experience metrics. The Director will engage in strategic planning, financial forecasting, and initiatives related to recruitment and retention, all while contributing to various aspects of patient care delivery under the guidance of the ACNO/CNO. Additionally, this role involves managing financial and capital budgets to ensure services meet established quality standards and devising solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and manage costs effectively.
