The Role

As the Director of Energy Systems, you will be responsible for shaping and executing Brelle’s technical strategy in battery engineering and system architecture. You will lead a diverse team comprising experts in mechanical, electrical, thermal, and simulation disciplines, influencing the key design decisions that define our next-generation products.

This position merges profound technical understanding with exceptional team leadership. We seek an individual with experience in delivering production battery systems, preferably in high-performance settings, and the ability to build and lead a world-class engineering team.

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of new module and pack architectures, including electromechanical systems, thermal management, safety systems, DFM, and product-level interfaces.

  • Oversee the annual budget for the energy systems team.

Technical Leadership & Delivery

  • Establish engineering processes, design standards, and review cycles that integrate safety and quality into rapid iteration cycles.

  • Lead DFMEA, DVP&R, and design release processes through to production launch.

  • Ensure designs comply with certification and homologation standards.
