Champion the creation of proprietary, self-owned global platforms.

Strike a balance between local expertise and global platform standards.
Foster an engineering culture grounded in technical excellence, accountability, and global significance.
Lead with Vision and Code
Guide and scale multiple engineering teams tasked with developing globally essential retail and commercial platforms from China.
Define the technical direction, platform roadmap, and focus on execution in collaboration with Product, Architecture, Security, and Global Tech Leadership.
Remain deeply involved in technical processes: engage in architectural design, evaluate system boundaries, assess complex trade-offs, and steer crucial technical decisions with clarity and authority.
Ensure that all platforms conform to the global architectural vision, long-term platform strategy, and regional regulatory requirements.
Serve as a visible technical leader who exemplifies engineering excellence, ownership, and quality.
Build Global Platforms with Local Innovation
Oversee the delivery, quality, and technical excellence of globally deployed platforms developed and managed from the Shanghai Tech Hub.
li>Lead the development of self-owned global platforms and ensure their successful operation from the China Tech Hub.

As the Director of Engineering, you will take the lead in building, guiding, and expanding this center, overseeing the comprehensive engineering strategy, execution, and talent development.
This position calls for exceptional technical leadership, organizational development, and adept management of global stakeholders. You will work at the crossroads of China’s advanced retail ecosystem and our global technology framework, delivering software products that empower markets worldwide.
