As the Director of Events at Access, you will play a pivotal role in shaping shared experiences that motivate and engage participants. Lead a talented Events team across the Southeastern United States, collaborating to innovate and achieve operational excellence while nurturing a culture of creativity, accountability, and outstanding client service.
In this influential leadership position, you will guide a team of event professionals responsible for executing intricate corporate meetings, incentive programs, and large-scale events throughout the region.
Your Role Overview
As the Director of Events (DOE), you will set the strategic vision and oversee the management of the Events team to ensure exceptional operational delivery across all programs in the Southeast territory.
You will lead a dedicated team in executing complex corporate meetings, incentives, and major programs, ensuring each initiative aligns with Access's standards for quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing team structure and performance metrics, ensuring outstanding client outcomes, strong financial results, and effective interdepartmental collaboration. The DOE will closely partner with Sales, Creative, and executive leadership to foster innovation, promote territorial growth, and develop a robust, solutions-oriented team culture.
This role is critical in executing programs at the highest standards while achieving revenue, profitability, and client satisfaction goals.
Your Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and mentor Senior Managers, Event Managers, and Event Associates, fostering professional growth and engagement.
Promote a culture of creative excellence, accountability, and continuous learning via coaching and regular team alignment.
Collaborate with Talent Operations and executive leadership to recruit, onboard, and cultivate a diverse pipeline of aspiring leaders.
Enhance team performance and program assignments to achieve exceptional delivery and financial success.
