Role Overview
The Director of Finance for Dublin reports directly to the VP of Business Finance. This leader guides financial performance and oversees financial operations for Verve Marketplace, the group’s largest AdTech business unit. The position supports a centralized Finance Operating Model and covers commercial finance, financial operations, and legal entity accounting. Close collaboration with Business Unit leadership is essential to support commercial decisions and maintain Group Finance standards and governance.
What You Will Do
Financial Operations
- Oversee commercial financial operations, including revenue tracking, cost management, and working capital visibility.
- Drive operational efficiency and promote continuous improvement in finance processes.
- Maintain consistency, accuracy, and integrity of financial data across reporting systems.
Legal Entity Accounting
- Lead and support timely and accurate financial close processes with Group Finance.
- Ensure the Business Unit provides complete and accurate financial data for Group reporting.
- Act as the main contact for accounting topics, ensuring compliance with Group policies and local regulations.
Governance and Controls
- Uphold internal controls, financial policies, and governance standards.
- Assist in rolling out Group-led finance initiatives, systems, and processes.
- Identify, manage, and escalate financial risks within the Business Unit as needed.
Strategic Finance Business Partnering
- Serve as a finance partner to Business Unit leadership and commercial teams.
- Support strategic decisions with insightful financial analysis.
- Offer feedback and guidance to help improve financial performance.
