Role overview
The Director of Media Strategy connects client business objectives with the agency’s full range of services. This position works closely with the Client Service team to shape and deliver strategic media plans for a major brand. The role is based in London or Manchester and follows a hybrid work model.
What you will do
- Develop media strategies for both current and prospective clients to help them stand out in their industries.
- Collaborate with client in-house teams to understand business goals, target audiences, and the competitive landscape.
- Translate client needs into actionable media briefs for specialist teams.
- Use data-driven insights to create compelling stories for clients.
- Build digital marketing strategies rooted in data and aligned with client objectives.
- Work alongside experts in SEA, SEO, CRM, Data, and Social Advertising.
- Apply a broad understanding of marketing, technology, and innovation to create effective strategies.
- Ensure smooth execution of campaigns and projects through cross-team collaboration.
- Lead projects from initiation to completion, sharing expertise and helping set new standards and best practices.
- Review campaign performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to keep strategies effective.
- Represent DEPT® at events and roundtables, networking and identifying new business opportunities.
Location
This role is based in London or Manchester and supports a hybrid work arrangement.
