About the job
About Us
At Hippocratic AI, we are at the forefront of revolutionizing healthcare through generative AI technology. Our innovative platform is uniquely designed to engage in safe, autonomous clinical conversations with patients, achieving an impressive accuracy rate of over 99.9% with our proprietary large language models (LLMs) within the Polaris constellation.
As we expand rapidly within the pharmaceutical and medtech sectors, we are pioneering a new era of agentic AI that enhances patient care and supports healthcare stakeholders throughout the life sciences value chain. Our partnerships with five of the world’s top 20 pharmaceutical companies underscore our commitment and growth in this hyper-evolving industry.
Why Join Our Team
Drive innovation in healthcare with a safety-first approach. We are creating the world’s first healthcare-centric, safety-focused LLM, a groundbreaking platform aimed at significantly improving patient outcomes on a global scale.
Collaborate with industry visionaries. Our team, co-founded by CEO Munjal Shah, consists of esteemed physicians, hospital executives, AI innovators, and researchers from prestigious institutions such as El Camino Health, Johns Hopkins, Washington University in St. Louis, Stanford, Google, Meta, Microsoft, and NVIDIA.
Supported by top-tier investors in Life Sciences and AI. We recently secured a $126 million Series C funding round, achieving a valuation of $3.5 billion and bringing total funding to $404 million with contributions from renowned investors including Avenir Growth, CapitalG, General Catalyst, a16z, Kleiner Perkins, and others.
We are currently seeking a Director of Pharmacovigilance and Safety to establish and oversee the safety framework that ensures Hippocratic AI operates with integrity and compliance in all patient interactions across our platform. This pivotal role involves managing pharmacovigilance systems, adverse event reporting processes, safety governance, and signal detection capabilities to instill confidence in our pharmaceutical and medtech partners, ensuring that patient safety remains paramount during every AI interaction.
This position presents a unique and creatively challenging opportunity in the healthcare safety domain. Rather than maintaining an existing pharmacovigilance operation, you will redefine how safety protocols function in an environment where AI agents, rather than human representatives, conduct millions of patient interactions across various therapeutic areas simultaneously. You will develop innovative frameworks, establish new standards, and construct the systems necessary to adapt to this transformative landscape.
