Key Responsibilities:
Sector Strategy & Market Leadership
- Lead and strategize for the Rail & Transit market.
- Define and drive the Rail & Transit sector strategy in alignment with AECOM’s UK and global Transportation goals.
- Track market trends, policy changes, and investment programs to uncover growth opportunities in Rail & Transit.
- Establish AECOM as a leading authority in rail and transit advisory, design, and delivery.
Client & Relationship Leadership
- Act as AECOM’s regional industry leader in Rail & Transit, collaborating with peers to ensure cohesive market strategies, technical expertise, client satisfaction, and best practices.
- Coordinate team formation for bids and mobilization.
- Collaborate with regional teams to evaluate Rail & Transit opportunities, advising on strategic planning and prioritization.
- Foster and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders in rail and transit, including authorities and major contractors.
- Serve as an executive sponsor for key client accounts and alliances.
- Engage strategically with clients, positioning AECOM as a trusted, long-term partner.
- Maintain C-suite relationships, transitioning from service provider to strategic partner.
- Ensure comprehensive account plans for tier-one clients to enhance cross-selling and retention efforts.
- Oversee the integrity of sector data within Salesforce, guaranteeing actionable opportunity pipelines.
Business Development & Work Winning
- Participate actively in work acquisition, collaborating with regional and global transport leads to establish a robust pipeline for sustained growth.
- Build relationships with clients, funding sources, industry organizations, partners, and stakeholders.
