The Director of Strategic Partner Accounts will be crucial in collaborating with the most significant national and global partners to drive mindshare, enhance technical, sales, and service capabilities, and ultimately meet our sales objectives. This role involves delivering strategic business plans and ensuring that partners are equipped to effectively sell and deliver services aligned with their Tanium business.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the primary contact and take full responsibility for expanding the most strategic partners on a regional or global scale.
- Drive and deliver new customer and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) growth across all business and go-to-market initiatives with strategic partners.
- Create and implement comprehensive business plans that encompass detailed sales, marketing, technical, and service strategies.
- Build executive-level relationships between both organizations to enhance their investment and commitment to their Tanium business.
- Assist partners in developing Tanium-based services to bolster their sales efforts and meet customer needs.
- Educate Tanium sales teams on the unique value propositions of partners and coach them on collaboration strategies to boost productivity.
- Train and enable partner technical resources to identify, discuss, and advocate for Tanium in both internal and customer-facing conversations.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Tanium's technology and value, effectively communicating it to both customers and partners.
- Possess thorough knowledge of each strategic partner’s business model and success drivers, demonstrating value by aligning Tanium's offerings with their strategic objectives.
- Exhibit a relentless focus on ensuring successful customer outcomes through partnerships.
We’re Looking For Someone With:
Experience:
- A minimum of 7 years in a national/global partner sales role within the IT Operations and/or IT Security sectors is essential.
- Experience working with large enterprise-focused integrators, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), or Global System Integrators (GSIs) with deep technical and service knowledge is preferred.
- Proven track record of creating geographical partner engagement strategies.
