Director of Talent Acquisition

About the Role

At Axon, we’re not merely assembling a recruiting team; we’re creating a talent engine that drives innovation forward. We are in search of a Director of Talent Acquisition who excels at blending strategy with execution, and who leads with integrity, perseverance, and data-driven insights. This pivotal role involves overseeing and enhancing our global recruiting efforts: defining strategic direction, nurturing top-tier talent acquisition professionals, and ensuring high-quality hires at the pace our organization requires.

You will closely collaborate with senior leaders across various departments including R&D to expand our technical and product recruitment efforts , encompassing Engineering, Product, Data, Security, and IT , while effectively managing shifting priorities alongside operational excellence. You will serve as both a strategist and an executor: establishing systems and insights to enhance hiring processes while being willing to dive into the details when necessary.

Success in this position entails owning comprehensive talent acquisition results with a focus on speed, candidate experience, diversity and inclusion, and measurable impact, achieving results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will help shape the future of how Axon attracts, engages, and secures top-tier talent.

Location: This position is based in our Seattle office and follows a hybrid work model. We emphasize in-person collaboration and require team members to work onsite from Tuesday to Friday, while allowing flexibility for remote work on Mondays, barring any approved workplace accommodations. We believe that connection fuels innovation, and our in-office culture is designed to promote meaningful teamwork, mentorship, and collective success.
