About the Role:

We are on the lookout for a dynamic Director of Sterile Operations to spearhead our cutting-edge 503A sterile compounding facility. This pivotal role demands a seasoned operational leader capable of scaling our new facility, optimizing daily operations, and achieving excellence in productivity, quality, and capacity metrics. You will report directly to the VP of Sterile Compounding and play a vital role in nurturing a high-performing team while promoting a culture of exceptional performance.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations within compounding labs, ensuring seamless alignment with production timelines and stringent quality standards.

  • Foster a robust culture of safety and compliance, adhering to FDA, OSHA, USP 797/800, and cGMP regulations.

  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of managers, leads, and pharmacy technicians across both hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding operations.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance capacity planning, drive productivity improvements, and achieve cost efficiencies.

  • Diagnose root causes of production challenges and implement effective corrective measures to maintain adherence to schedules.

  • Develop, standardize, and implement SOPs, policies, and best practices across our sterile compounding network.

  • Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance teams to pinpoint opportunities for operational enhancements.
