The Disaster Recovery & Capacity Manager leads the organization’s disaster response and crisis management efforts, ensuring compliance with Engineering and Customer specifications while coordinating disaster preparedness for our Platform, thereby safeguarding business continuity.
Your role will also involve ensuring we possess adequate resources to efficiently meet current and future Platform demands through forecasting needs, capacity planning, monitoring performance (KPIs), managing risks (shortages/overloads), and developing optimization strategies, all while advising leadership and ensuring cost-effective service level targets are attained.
This position offers a significant opportunity to shape the company's approach to resilience and disaster recovery as part of the Platform Engineering team, which engages with a wide array of technologies.
Your Impact
You will:
- Collaborate with Engineering and Service Management to advance the disaster recovery (DR) and capacity planning strategy, creating frameworks, policies, and procedures for both Cloud and Data Center environments.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive plans for executing all DR procedures while understanding their interdependencies.
- Ensure that all DR solutions are effective, properly maintained, and aligned with organizational needs.
