About the Role

The Content Producer will play a pivotal role in the creation of SportyNet's live and recorded programming. This individual will oversee editorial and operational workflows, ensuring the seamless execution of daily content for the channel. The Content Producer will manage the entire production cycle of live shows, match broadcasts, interviews, and news segments, collaborating closely with hosts, commentators, pundits, and reporters. Responsibilities also include scripting, scheduling interviews, supporting talent, coordinating with designers and editors, and ensuring timely delivery of all commercial and promotional elements. This position is crucial in maintaining SportyNet's editorial integrity, quality, and mission.

Key Responsibilities

Live Shows & Daily Production Management

Produce and coordinate live studio shows, ensuring flawless editorial and technical execution.
Develop and update scripts, rundowns, talking points, segment structures, and editorial briefs.
Assist hosts, commentators, and pundits by providing research, key information, statistics, and preparation for shows.
Facilitate communication between editorial, technical, and studio teams during live broadcasts.
Ensure all show elements including videos, graphics, inserts, and interview clips are prepared and delivered to MCR and control rooms.

Match Broadcast Production

Oversee live game broadcasts, managing content flow, pre-game, halftime, and post-game segments.
Work closely with commentators, analysts, and production teams to ensure editorial consistency.
Coordinate incoming feeds, highlights, statistics, and relevant assets for match coverage.
Ensure timing, transitions, and all on-air elements align with the broadcast plan.

Interviews, Reporting & News Coverage

Schedule and coordinate interviews with athletes, coaches, guests, partners, and special contributors.
Support reporters with editorial preparation, angles, questionnaires, and rundown structures.
Monitor breaking news and inform editorial teams to adjust scripts and segments as necessary.
Prepare and update daily news briefs, reports, and content summaries.

Cross-Team Collaboration & Content Delivery

Collaborate closely with designers, motion artists, and video editors to ensure timely delivery of graphics, packages, and videos.
