About the Role – Why It Matters
The E-Commerce Lead will play a pivotal role in the brand’s growth trajectory. Responsible for managing and scaling the Shopify storefront, this individual will enhance the digital shopping experience from initial discovery to final checkout. This role transcends mere site management; the E-Commerce Lead will implement growth strategies that integrate conversion rate optimization (CRO), lifecycle marketing, paid media coordination, and data analytics to elevate every customer interaction.
This position requires a blend of analytical skills and creativity, thriving at the crossroads of product, marketing, and technology. Equipped with tools like Triple Whale, Klaviyo, and Postscript, you will significantly influence customer acquisition, retention, and revenue performance in one of the most exciting sectors of direct-to-consumer marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and enhance the Shopify e-commerce platform to maximize growth, conversion rates, and user experience.
- Manage site performance, including merchandising, landing page creation, user experience enhancements, and CRO strategies.
- Collaborate with development teams to execute front- and back-end updates, integrations, and feature enhancements.
- Lead performance marketing initiatives by partnering with internal teams and external media partners (Meta, Google, etc.).
- Utilize platforms such as Triple Whale for analytics, attribution, and performance reporting.
- Work closely with retention platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Postscript, Attentive) to orchestrate email and SMS lifecycle campaigns.
- Develop and implement paid media strategies focused on customer acquisition and return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Collaborate with creative and brand teams to produce high-impact creative assets for digital and paid channels.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs), provide actionable insights, and promote continuous improvement across all e-commerce interactions.
- Stay updated on DTC trends, tools, and technologies, with a focus on beauty, wellness, or related sectors.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience in e-commerce management, preferably with Shopify.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies including CRO, lifecycle marketing, and performance analytics.
- Familiarity with tools such as Triple Whale, Klaviyo, and Postscript.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a creative mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
