Your Role
As the face of the Valk Store, you serve as the primary point of contact for customers, suppliers, and colleagues. You ensure that orders run smoothly and that customers experience the recognizable Van der Valk feeling, both online and offline. You are responsible for customer interactions and service, handling inquiries and complaints personally, and analyzing them to continuously improve services. Furthermore, you meticulously monitor order management and inventory, ensuring that customers can order with peace of mind.

Your role goes beyond execution: you identify trends, pinpoint bottlenecks, and prepare reports on popular products and ordering behavior. You share these insights with the Marketing and campaign team to better align actions and promotions with customer preferences. You build strong relationships with suppliers, collaboratively seek solutions to problems, and actively contribute to process optimizations. This allows you to understand the entire supplier process and lays a solid foundation for growth and advancement opportunities within Van der Valk.
Your Team
The Operations team consists of 10 driven colleagues and serves as the connecting link between hotels, guests, and other departments. Together, you ensure that hotels receive optimal support and that guests always feel welcome and appreciated.
The Organization

Valk Store is the online webshop of Van der Valk and is part of the Valk Service Center, which supports more than 70 Van der Valk hotels both domestically and internationally. In various teams such as marketing, revenue management, and HR, we work together to support our hotels in the best possible manner. This is done at our modern office in the beautiful Van der Valk Hotel in Breukelen.
