JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Content Manager, you will oversee all copywriting and content production efforts. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute the content strategy while managing the production of copy across all websites.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the SEO copywriting team.
- Edit, proofread, and enhance UK, US, and IE copy to ensure clarity and effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with the SEO Technical Manager to align content strategies effectively.
- Coordinate with external agencies and freelance content writers to maintain brand consistency.
- Utilize keyword research, analytics, and SEO tools to identify content gaps and provide guidance to SEO copywriters.
- Review and optimize existing website content, suggesting strategies for refreshing or enhancing content performance.
- Monitor competitor content strategies to ensure we remain at the forefront of SEO practices.
- Provide relevant insights to the Project Manager to facilitate the creation of content briefs.
CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within an eCommerce brand.
- Demonstrated expertise in content production aimed at SEO optimization.
- Experience in line management and team leadership.
- Comprehensive understanding of SEO principles and practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proactive problem solver with a keen analytical mindset.
SALARY
£40,000 - £45,000
