Preferred QualificationsExperience:Prior experience teaching students from demographics similar to those within the KIPP Public Schools Northern California community. Education:B. A./B. S. degree from an accredited institution. Must meet one of the following eligibility criteria:Possess a valid teaching credential in the applicable subject area, orBe eligible for a Provisional Internship Permit, orBe eligible for a Short-Term Staff Permit. Required Skills:Strong commitment to the mission and vision of KIPP. Dedication to anti-racist educational practices. Belief in the potential of all students to excel academically. Proficient knowledge in the content area. Excellent relationship-building skills with students, families, and the community. Effective communication skills with students, families, and colleagues. Proficiency in Google Suite applications (Google Classroom, Docs, Sheets, etc.).
