Qualifications
Position Summary:The Electrical Apprentice will work closely with a journeyman electrician, participating in the efficient installation of electrical systems while receiving training and ensuring quality control. Key Responsibilities:Accurately measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using hand tools and measuring instruments. Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment, ensuring that parts and supplies are organized. Perform both semi-skilled and unskilled labor tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of various electrical systems and equipment. Disassemble defective electrical equipment, replace worn parts, and reassemble using hand tools. Thread conduit ends, connect couplings, and fabricate and secure conduit support brackets using hand tools. Inspect electrical units for loose connections and damaged insulation, tightening connections as necessary.
