Your Responsibilities:Design and implement thorough board-level and module-level validation test plans for Waymo hardware, collaborating closely with electrical engineering and software teams. Conduct electrical validation tests for silicon, boards, and systems, focusing on high-speed and low-speed interfaces, voltage regulators, and power delivery networks, while covering thermal and voltage corners. Lead and execute validation efforts to achieve critical deadlines and priority objectives. Document validation outcomes meticulously. Track encountered and resolved bugs, and communicate test plans and results effectively. Assist with hardware bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting tasks. Increase validation efficiency and scalability by developing scripts and automation tools. Your Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in hardware electrical validation. Strong communication and project management skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors. Experience in executing electrical validation on the bench, utilizing instruments such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, electronic loads, power supplies, power analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and thermal chambers. Solid understanding of signal and power integrity; able to identify potential risks through validation processes.

This position follows an on-site work schedule and reports directly to the Hardware Engineering Manager.
