The role of Electrical Engineer involves collaborating with a skilled team of electrical subcontractors to assist with the design, development, and installation of extensive electrical systems in alignment with project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all work in compliance with the Winthrop Integrated Management System.
- Manage, review, and coordinate project drawings as needed.
- Provide technical guidance to subcontracted personnel throughout the project.
- Delegate tasks effectively within the technical team.
- Ensure subcontractor adherence to all site requirements, including health and safety regulations.
- Utilize troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain document control to keep all logs current.
- Develop handover and test packs for systems.
Ensure all compliance and governance matters are addressed, including:
- Monitoring health & safety standards on-site and ensuring safe practices among subcontractors.
- Evaluating work methods and implementing safety improvements where feasible.
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards among all subcontractors.
- Completing weekly ‘don’t walk by’ safety observations.
