What sets you apart:A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is essential. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience working with electrical components is required. Prior experience in a global organization within the electronics or video/photo industry is highly desirable. Familiarity with development processes, particularly agile methodologies and relevant ISO standards (such as ISO 9001 and ISO 27001). Demonstrated flexibility and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse international and multicultural teams, exhibiting a strong sense of responsibility and customer orientation. Resilience in a dynamic business environment with exceptional communication skills is a must. Proficient in leading discussions across various management levels and working collaboratively across functions. Possess a process-oriented mindset combined with strong analytical capabilities. Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory.

About the job

Your role in shaping the future:

  • Oversee the quality assurance function during product development, identifying opportunities for quality enhancement, establishing clear targets, and implementing 'designed-in quality' practices to ensure compliance with quality gates.
  • Develop and implement strategies aimed at enhancing the preventive quality of our products.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring that quality assurance measures are effectively tracked to meet product maturity requirements.
  • Prepare methodologies and monthly reports to manage stakeholder expectations and promote data-driven discussions regarding quality.
  • Identify and spearhead initiatives to improve quality and reduce warranty costs, utilizing structured problem-solving techniques like 8D, Fishbone, and 5 Whys.
  • Analyze warranty return and repair data, failure costs, and customer feedback to proactively detect quality issues, employing a data-driven approach.
  • Set quality improvement objectives that align with broader business goals.
  • Address supplier quality issues, manage new product launches, and support supplier development initiatives.
  • Contribute to accelerating Time-to-Market by optimizing processes and minimizing deviations in projects and products.
