Role Overview

ABM Technical Solutions seeks an Electrical Engineer to help manage and support technical services and fabric maintenance at the Victoria Centre. This position focuses on keeping operations smooth and compliant through careful planning and hands-on maintenance, ensuring the property remains safe and functional for clients and visitors.

Main Responsibilities

Use CAFM systems to order parts and track key performance indicators.
Carry out both planned and reactive maintenance as assigned by the Contract Manager. This includes fault finding, testing, repairs, and preventive work on building fabric.
Update and close completed planned preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks in the computerized maintenance system.
Maintain engineering standards to support the reliability and effectiveness of plant and related systems.
Coordinate specialist subcontractors for both PPM and reactive jobs.
Follow company quality assurance and site procedures in all work activities.
Keep thorough and accurate records and documentation for all site work.
Proactively check service conditions and handle callouts or repairs as needed.
Respond quickly to site emergencies.
Work in plant room environments and at heights, using supplied access equipment and PPE.
Maintain all company-issued tools in safe, working order.
Promote a positive approach to help the contract succeed.
Follow Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures as detailed in site plans.
Perform other related tasks as requested by management.
