Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Electrical Estimator with 3-5 years of experience. Ideal candidates will possess expertise in electrical estimating within Design Build/Design Assist frameworks for data centers or large commercial constructions.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Assessment:
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to grasp the technical requirements of mission-critical projects.
- Perform thorough reviews of specifications, drawings, and related documents to pinpoint essential project elements.
Cost Estimation:
- Leverage industry-standard estimating software to create detailed and accurate cost estimates.
- Analyze labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs to formulate comprehensive project budgets.
Bid Preparation:
- Prepare and submit competitive bids efficiently.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure accurate material and subcontractor pricing.
Risk Analysis:
- Assess potential project execution risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Provide insights into alternative solutions or cost-saving measures that maintain project quality.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with project management to align estimated costs with project budgets.
- Engage with other departments to enhance estimate accuracy.
