Position Summary:
The Electronics Engineering Manager will spearhead the electronics engineering division, overseeing the design, validation, and ongoing support of OrganOx's medical device innovations. This pivotal role fuses leadership, project management, and technical expertise to ensure timely delivery of electronic systems that meet stringent quality and regulatory standards, all while promoting a culture of collaboration and high performance within the team.
This position is primarily based on-site in Oxford, with flexible options for remote work to facilitate close cooperation with engineering, quality assurance, regulatory, and manufacturing teams.
Major Responsibilities:
- Lead the electronics engineering team through effective management practices, including performance evaluations, goal-setting, coaching, and career development strategies.
- Foster a motivated, accountable, and high-achieving electronics team.
- Strategically plan and allocate resources across multiple projects to ensure the successful delivery of electronics work packages.
- Supervise the design, development, and verification of electronic subsystems, ensuring compliance with system requirements and applicable regulatory standards (IEC 60601, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304).
- Review and endorse technical outputs such as schematics, PCB layouts, verification strategies, and design documentation.
- Support architectural design and validation efforts to align with project goals and regulatory frameworks.
