Qualifications
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and rigorously test onboard connectivity electronics for integration into light electric vehicle platforms. Create and maintain precise 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings for components and assemblies, ensuring manufacturability. Collaborate closely with electrical engineers to define electromechanical interfaces, integrating PCBAs, flex circuits, and wire harnesses into electromechanical systems for optimal functionality and reliability. Develop and implement comprehensive testing plans, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and physical testing, to validate design performance and ensure compliance with specifications. Prototype and iterate designs using hands-on fabrication techniques in a lab environment, swiftly transforming concepts into functional prototypes. Work in tandem with contract manufacturers to oversee the production of components, ensuring quality control and adherence to design specifications across mass production processes like stamping, forging, casting, and injection molding. Support the product launch process by providing technical assistance and ensuring a seamless transition from development to production.
