The Role

We are in search of corporate climate experts to join Watershed’s go-to-market team! This position is ideal for individuals excited about assisting medium to large enterprises in navigating the complex landscape of investor pressure, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements (CSRD, SEC, etc.). If you are ready to dive deep with prospective customers, collaborating with our sales, product, and climate science teams, we would love to hear from you. Whether you have experience in SaaS sales or are new to climate tech, your climate knowledge will be invaluable in guiding customers through critical purchasing decisions.

Fluency in both English and German is required for this role.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with 3-4 Enterprise Account Executives to analyze and comprehend customers’ business models, climate goals, and software requirements.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, educating them about corporate climate commitments, carbon accounting, and relevant regulations while showcasing the Watershed offering.

  • Develop and disseminate subject matter expertise on how the largest global companies can implement successful climate initiatives.

  • Showcase Watershed’s distinct value to potential clients through product demonstrations, ROI analyses, and compelling customer success stories.

  • Scope intricate customer engagements as Watershed launches new products and expands into additional industries.

  • Coordinate with Customer Success and Climate Advisory teams to facilitate seamless transitions from pre- to post-contract.

  • Partner with Watershed’s Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams to drive continuous improvements in our products and market positioning.
