THE ROLE
As an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will be a vital part of our front-line team, addressing emergencies where every moment is crucial. You will manage a diverse array of cases, from minor to life-threatening situations, working alongside our veterinarians to deliver compassionate, top-tier care. Your responsibilities will encompass triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, providing reassurance to pet parents during their most stressful times. This position is ideal for individuals eager to apply their training, enhance their skills, and make a meaningful impact in emergency veterinary care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide exceptional care to every patient and their families, ensuring they feel supported throughout the treatment process.
- Act promptly to deliver nursing care and emotional support during critical moments, from initial triage to discharge.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform advanced procedures including IV placements and blood transfusions.
- Foster collaboration and communication within the team, contributing to the overall care strategy.
- Prepare to execute CPR and other life-saving techniques as a certified RECOVER professional.
