Qualifications
What do you need to qualify?Within our team, you will have every opportunity to take initiative as we are currently in a phase of development. Additionally, the following qualifications are essential:A completed HBO or university degree in fields such as construction or installation technology, environmental science, or sustainable (energy/innovation) technology is preferred. A solid understanding of or interest in complex building and/or process installations and sustainability in its broader context. A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, with expertise in the NTA8800 determination method for utilities and/or BREEAM being an advantage. You possess excellent communication skills and can write clear, comprehensible advisory reports that motivate clients to implement your recommendations. Your colleagues can rely on you to deliver quality work consistently.

As an Energy Advisor, you will collaborate closely with your teammates in the sustainability division, working alongside seasoned specialists in energy performance research, the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED), BREEAM certification, and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). Furthermore, you will participate in multidisciplinary projects, collaborating with colleagues from construction and environmental teams.
We are eager to discuss the specifics of your role in a personal conversation. To give you an initial understanding, you will tackle a variety of client inquiries, such as: 'How can my organization become Paris-proof?', 'Is it possible to make my portfolio more sustainable while obtaining a BREEAM certificate?', or 'Does the property we wish to purchase align with our ESG objectives?'. You will gather necessary information through a combination of desk research and on-site inspections to formulate robust advice.
